Sun Valley: Sophisticated Fun (3 hours)

Craters of the Moon: Unearthly Beauty (1.5 hours)
In the 1960s, NASA astronauts visited this National Monument to prepare for their flight to the moon. Visitors today can hike, ski, and camp at this unearthly site. The volcanic landscape showcases a moon-like terrain with cinder cones, lava flows, and year-round ice caves, as well as wildflowers, birds, and mammals.
Yellowstone Park: The Nation’s Crown Jewel (2 hours)
The world’s first National Park boasts a bewildering variety of things to see and do. Yellowstone
offers more than 2 million acres of steaming geysers (including Old Faithful), crystalline lakes,
thundering waterfalls, and panoramic vistas. Home to a remarkable diversity of mammals, birds, and fish, it’s one of the world’s foremost wildlife sanctuaries.
Mesa Falls: Misty Rainbows (1.5 hours)
At 110 feet and 85 feet, the Upper and Lower Mesa Falls offer spectacular views in a
beautiful forest setting. A favorite of shutterbugs and artists, the Falls lie just steps from the
car along a National Scenic Byway.
Grand Teton National Park: Rugged Peaks (2 hours)
Of the hundreds of peaks in this majestic range, ten tower more than a vertical mile above the valley floor. Remnant glaciers cling to craggy mountain faces. In the meadows and lakes below, visitors experience lake cruises, horseback rides, swimming holes, fishing spots, and canoeing. Elk, bison, marmot, deer, eagles, trumpeter swans”even the occasional moose and bear”may cross your path.
South Fork of the Snake River: Angler’s Dream (45 min)
This 62-mile stretch of river is internationally renowned as a cutthroat trout fishery. It is also home to hundreds of animal species. The area’s wildlife provide a spectacular backdrop for
hiking, rafting, and sightseeing opportunities.
Jackson Hole: Western Attitude (1.5 hours)
Stagecoaches, antler archways, and wooden sidewalks are among the charms of this quaint, hospitable Western town. Famous for its world-class skiing, Jackson is now an equally popular summer destination.
