EIRMC has been designated a Spine Center of Excellence by Blue Cross of Idaho. This program takes a team approach to back pain so you receive the most appropriate, comprehensive care. Participants have an initial assessment by Dr. Mangrum, a physiatrist (a doctor who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation to help reduce pain and restore function), to develop an individualized treatment plan. This may include pain management, physical therapy, appropriate imaging, and other support. We encourage patients to pursue participation in this program if you are currently suffering with low back pain.
