Specially trained pediatric nurses are available when your doctor's office is closed.

Idaho Falls, ID - Are those "just the sniffles" or should you be taking your child to the ER right away? This is a scenario many parents can face after hours or on the weekends when their doctor's office is closed. Sure, there's a Google search, but what if you could go one step further, and talk to an actual pediatric nurse over the phone?

That's the premise of EIRMC's new Ask a Nurse hotline. When parents just aren't sure about what to do, they now have access to a pediatric medical professional over the phone who can advise them on the best course of action for their sick child.

Parents can call, describe their child's symptoms, and receive sound medical advice.

This service is now live and available weekdays from 5pm-8am, and all day on weekends and holidays.

Just call 208-497-6167 for fast, free help.
