State Recognizes EIRMC as a Level II Trauma Center
The state has recognized Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center as a level II trauma center. To be recognized as a trauma center you have
to be either verified by the American College of Surgeons, which EIRMC has been since 2007, or state designated which EIRMC recently became. The hospital has been working toward this achievement for three years and now they have received a certificate of accomplishment for their status. Level II Trauma Center has an around the clock emergency response team.
