Denial of addiction: BHC's behavioral health therapist comment

In a recent interview with Local News 8, EIRMC's Behavioral Health Center therapist Brett Nelson responds by saying that denial of an addiction just prolongs it, and sets people up for relapse.

Brett says that people commonly attribute the problem to easy access to modes of addiction, whether it's alcohol, drugs, or pornography. Addressing the problem and taking responsibility for changing personal behaviors is a big step towards breaking the addiction.
